Announcing a new strategic partnership for wellbeing.

12th August 2024.
Oliver Sussat, Harding Hub’s Education specialist, is happy to announce a new partnership with Tend VR.

About The Harding Hub

As the UK’s first ever provider of integrated payroll, pensions, workplace wellbeing and employees benefits services, the Harding Hub offers gold-standard financial prosperity and holistic wellbeing services to companies, charities and the education sector. The organisations we serve report improved colleague satisfaction, reduced staff churn and better recruitment capability, all as a result of the enhanced employee value proposition delivered by the Harding Hub. Our members work in partnership with our clients to turn their organisations into environments in which their people are happy, healthy and financially secure.

About Tend VR

Tend VR is focused on improving mental wellbeing using immersive technologies. Its mission is to provide people with the tools and techniques to help enhance their mental wellbeing, particularly through Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Its combined hardware and software offering (or software-only for those institutions who already have compatible headsets) provides two distinct kinds of activity, both based on MBCT. The first is a series of relaxation sessions that can be undertaken by anybody at any time, and the second is a 40-part course that delivers learning and resilience to those who require specific support with their wellbeing. The technology is already being used by commercial and healthcare organisations for the benefit of their employees and clients.

About the Partnership

Tend’s VR product is already available to commercial clients of The Harding Hub, but now, the two organisations have entered into a strategic partnership to bring Tend’s VR product to education institutions across the UK. In increasingly difficult circumstances for learners, staff and institutions alike, emerging technologies like Tend VR can make life that little bit easier. Investing in student wellbeing can safeguard individuals, protect an institution’s revenue and improve performance indicators across the board. With a new academic year just starting, and with that the requirement for staff across the sector to switch their thoughts from student recruitment to student retention, there are plenty of reasons why this partnership announcement is important right now.

Look out for a blog post about Tend VR’s huge potential for the Education sector, soon.
